Dr. BLU is credit to Dr. Who!
Seriously, I am truly surprised that this piece of pure win has only got 800 odd views.

Here’s another nice TF2 AI bot vid put together by USK clan. Its a similar concept to Mass AI by EvilDaedalus, but does some cool stuff with the technique. There are some impressive set pieces (included the most epic pyro tennis match ever).
USK Clan – Team Fortress 2
Playing around with bots in TF2. First, I just wanted to check if they can do rocket tennis, obviously. Well, they can, but also so much more. Even though bot functionality is ridiculously limited.

Its obvious really. Jack Nicholson is actually the Pyro underneath that mask. So it was only natural that someone would remake the “Here’s Johnny!” scene from The Shining in the bathroom with the axe and the Pyro. And who would the pyro be hunting? The spy of course.

Here’s Pyro!
Sorry for the googly eyes, couldn’t fix it haha.I wanted to make a movie that was serious and that wasn’t just cheaply made with stock animations or Gmod.
It was a fun video to make, but at the same time a pain. Getting custom animations to work on the tf2 models correctly is a chore. Then still there are some minor flaws, but overall it turned out well
Plus i’ve never animated before so its a fun learning experience :pTools used:
3DS Max (Animation + Modelling)
Photoshop (Textures + Adjustments)
CoolEditPro (Audio creation/mixing)
Adobe After Effects (Editing/Composing)
Source SDK (Faceposing + Mapping)
Team Fortress 2 (Rendering + Demo Smoothing)—-=========================—
This was the first test animation created before production
There’s something hilarous about things you dont see on camera…

A few months ago, I told you the wonderful story of Don Newman, the amazing cold pyro. As mentioned in the article, there was a machinima in his name in the works. The time has come, and work has begun!
The Red Knight is a webisode series in the works, with Don taking the place of Batman in the film The Dark Knight. That’s all we can tell you at the moment, but we need some help! We are currently in need of:
TF2 Cinematographers (help, not actual work)
Skinners/Skilled Photoshoppers More still welcome, but main parts already filled
Mappers (we will need 3 maps total, but one person doesn’t have to make all 3)
Modeler (one prop for now)
Voice Talent:
Contact me via Skype if you want a voice talent tryout, my name is tpmx13.

Rewards for helping is credit in both the video and in the post on Ubercharged once released. You will also recieve Ubercharged.net Percentage Points (may or may not exist). We hope to have something by May, so keep tuned in to see the webisodes and trailers!

It’s been a while since we’ve seen some TF2 Machinima, so it’s time to load up on some Engie action by whatistuna. This is particularly relevant with the recent Engie buffs from Valve.

DIGG
A movie dedicated to all the hardworking Engineers out there. Consisting of a plot that makes absolutly no sense and leaves you clueless of what you just watched, brought to you by WhatIsTuna.info and PldX.com. Check out the HD version of the movie, or the interview with Tuna
What can I say – it’s got Bond Casino Royale, Bon Jovi, GTA 4, and even some Macgyver references mixed in there. You can’t not win.

I went out to a nice restaurant for dinner tonight, and paid $25 for a few thin slices of Tuna as an entrée. So I feel qualified to discuss this.
This is one that I’ve been hearing about all day, so I figured I’d have to get up off my slack non-postingness of late and you know… post it.
JustAConspiracy emailed me waxing on about the greatness of it
Or rather, a video if you don’t watch a rabid mongoose will come and rape your cat.
This is just one of those things that you have to spread to the world.
I heard about it from C4Cypher of the TF2F community:
You remember watching the Matrix? The good one? The first one? What made that film so cool? For me it was the fact that the film treated our reality as a simulation. A simulation with rules. Rules that could be bent. Rules that could be broken.EvilDaedalus has brought us something unique, scripting bots in such a way to give a similar effect as watching the matrix film for the first time.
And then UC regular pinko chimed in over gtalk:
This video was incredimazing. A new word that I had to make up for just this video. These TF2 art videos are always really cool…
And from the man himself
Gotta love Propane nightmares. Awesome song. Happened that I was messing around with bots when I first heard it and the thought of making this vid just popped into place.
More mirrors will be posted here: http://www.mantaengie.com/2008/11/23/tf2-mass-ai/
Sorry, I’m not going to explain how it works, stop asking. =P
About the donation request at the end: Manta Engie is paid for out of my pocket right now, and I’d like it if became self-sufficient. What I’m saying is that it’s unlikely that I will ask for donations again as all donations go towards maintaining the site.
Of course EvilDaedalus is no stranger to awesomeness and TF2 videos.
So anyway, here it is. Don’t try this at home.
So the kids in the forums have been digging through the garbage that is the intarwet in general, and Youtube in particular, and have unearthed a bunch of horrible, yet entertaining TF2izations of Liam Lynch’s My United States Of Whatever
RJ-Pilot kicked the whole sorry debacle off by posting a link to this one with some spy-on-everyone action.
Then Cubic_C linked to this one with the scout.
And a little more investigation of the garbage heap revealed this one, with the sniper shouting at people.

Max from onlinegamer.se pointed out this kick ass piece of TF2 machinima on IRC.
From what I can tell, it was put together by =SW42=T-Fou over at Super Warriors 42 (although my French is a little rusty non-existent, so if I’m wrong on that let me know!)
Basically, it’s a demoman failing at payload on Goldrush. This has got to be one of the funniest TF2 vids I’ve seen in a long time, and the custom animations they have done are basically – excellent. No sloppy gmod flailing or in game taunts here. Just watch it. You’ll see what I mean.
It’s got French bits in it, but it’s mostly visual jokes, so you shouldn’t need translation.

The awesome talent of lagspike (of Temp Fortress fame) has been at work machinimaising Team Fortress 2 again.
We’ve already seen how well the Dark Knight and TF2 go together, so it’s good to see that proud tradition carry on.
Oh yeah, there was something about a sandvich this morning as well… But you probably know all about that already.

It’s been a big week for the fan-made, parody “Meet The…” Team Fortress 2 videos. We’ve seen Meet The Dispenser, Meet The Spy, and even Meet The Cow – with the inspired “Cowverfield” sequence
Now we’ve got “Meet The Sentry” put together by SourceCityProductions.
A Team Fortress 2 Machinima by SourceCityProductions. The quality of TF2 machinima coming out lately is really good. I’m loving it.
