The Shining – Team Fortress 2 style
Its obvious really. Jack Nicholson is actually the Pyro underneath that mask. So it was only natural that someone would remake the “Here’s Johnny!” scene from The Shining in the bathroom with the axe and the Pyro. And who would the pyro be hunting? The spy of course.

Sorry for the googly eyes, couldn’t fix it haha.I wanted to make a movie that was serious and that wasn’t just cheaply made with stock animations or Gmod.
It was a fun video to make, but at the same time a pain. Getting custom animations to work on the tf2 models correctly is a chore. Then still there are some minor flaws, but overall it turned out well
Plus i’ve never animated before so its a fun learning experience :pTools used:

Source SDK (Faceposing + Mapping)

Quite nice work actually. Better than those Gmod things which is actually just a bunch of ragdolls being flung around.

That’s pretty well animated. It’s just, as someone said, the Spy’s death scream doesn’t quite fit.

The original would probably be a little scarier had I seen the movie. People always using that “Here’s Johnny!” thing. =P
Awesome work, though. Now if only I weren’t to lazy and cheap to get that Source animation DVD…

Man, that was seriously intense. Applauds for the brilliant animation, but a bit bugged by the repeated spy screams.
