Engination
It’s been a while since we’ve seen some TF2 Machinima, so it’s time to load up on some Engie action by whatistuna. This is particularly relevant with the recent Engie buffs from Valve.

DIGG
A movie dedicated to all the hardworking Engineers out there. Consisting of a plot that makes absolutly no sense and leaves you clueless of what you just watched, brought to you by WhatIsTuna.info and PldX.com. Check out the HD version of the movie, or the interview with Tuna
What can I say – it’s got Bond Casino Royale, Bon Jovi, GTA 4, and even some Macgyver references mixed in there. You can’t not win.
Spotted over at TeamFortress2.de
I went out to a nice restaurant for dinner tonight, and paid $25 for a few thin slices of Tuna as an entrée. So I feel qualified to discuss this.

Always good humor when mixing Valve products for some reason….and even the GTA4 references were well done

Nothing can beat the Engineer’s trusty shotgun. Not even Striders.

That was excellent, especially the Casino Royale bit.
Plus the Sentry in CounterStrike is the perfect visual metaphor for TF2 being vastly superior to CS.
Mr. Noobinator responded on 30 Dec 2008 at 9:16 am #
i was half disappointed with the movie until i see a CS:S round and the sentry kill the Ts and CTs.
oh, and the GTA4 scene left me laughing for a while. and striders in well? how did he do that?? i know you can put objects on garry’s mod but not with AI D:
Sypheros responded on 30 Dec 2008 at 12:50 pm #
That was absolutely awesome dude, some of the best Machinima ive ever seen, aside from Red Vs Blue. Even then, this wins by a long shot.
@Zorgulon
That was EXACTLY what I thought when I saw that

I like when the Heavy’s run over by the car and then immediately calls to find out why they were in such a hurry.
My favorite part though had to be the HEROES reference that caught me completely off guard.
@ Zorgulon
EXACTLY.

@Mr. Noobinator There is a addon for Garrys Mod on garrysmod.com that puts all the TF2 weapons in to Garry’s Mod. Actually pretty nifty.

Thanks for all the positive feedback, really appreciate it. Already started working on a new movie, probably will be out during spring/summer. Everything pretty much planned, but implementing it all will be a lot harder than most of the clips in this movie.
What really amazed me how much positive feedback I’ve got from this, especially as a lot of things were just more of an experiment than anything, and some of them even partly failed (such as the bullet scene). The GTA clip was pretty much the last clip I did for this, and it was really the second time I had ever even done 3D tracking, and I’m really glad it turned as good as it did, but made a few flaws there as well. Hopefully I’ve learnt enough from this movie and the flaws in it to be able to pull of what I got planned for the new movie.
If you liked my work, please favorite and rate it on Youtube as well as suscribe.

This was the best (yes THE) machinima movie I have ever seen. It’s edited perfectly, it’s got a good subject (TF2 eh
), it’s…. GREAT!
Tuna, keep on doing this, I love it!
TheOrangeDoor responded on 13 Jan 2009 at 11:19 am #
This probably isn’t the bast TF2 machinima out there. No, it’s more likely the best piece of art that has been made in the name of all that is Red and Blu.
I’m not even joking, this must’ve taken some serious effort; from the lip-syncing to the incredible use of Garry’s Mod and other editors. I’m sure That Tuna, Salmon, and the rest of the school (excuse the lame joke) worked tirelessly on a video just for the fans.
