Happy Uber Day!
Guess what day today is? 10th of October 2008. And what happened 10th of October 2007? Well, it was the first post on ubercharged.net.
(I don’t know who did this image sorry, but let me know, and I’ll credit it!)
It started with playing the TF2 beta with a bunch of guys from work, then randomly registering the domain name (a few days earlier on the 6th), then figuring out what the hell to do with it.
Now somehow we’ve ended up with 353 posts (almost one per day!), 4645 legit blog comments (and 7962 spam comments), forums, a TF2 server, an IRC channel. 33 published authors, and more on the way.
Wow! Where the hell did all that come from?
So thank you all to you guys. For reading, contributing, and participating in helping this site take off. Wouldn’t have been able to do it otherwise

And you know what else happened on October 10th, 2007? TF2 itself and the orange box was released as well. Hah! How’s that for street cred. Launching the site on the same day as the game it is about 
October 10th is also my mother’s birthday… oh s**t, I’d better call…

Hah, congratulations ubercharged! Ubercharged has certainly grown since I discovered it, many moons ago (not quite, but you get the idea..). It’s great to see how popular it’s becoming.
Nice finish, many lols.. Though, it’s only october 9th here so NER. Should have scheduled it 2 hours later, just for us brits..
