Sniper On Sniper Hate Crimes
ATTN: Snipers Of the Word! Could we please stop these Sniper On Sniper Hate Crimes?! I mean if I had a dollar every time I peaked my little head around the corner and some bloke splattered my head across the decor, I’d be a billionaire. Lets just make a pact here and now, we’re becoming extinct!
Every time I enter an area there are less and less of us around. Yet there are 3 scouts, 5 engineers, and god knows how many pyros. Lets just start picking off these little bastards when they come blindly scampering through our areas. I mean Christ knows what have they done to receive their “Get Out Of Head Shot Card”?
There are a lot of me mates missing limbs, eyes, fingers, and poor Richards funeral consisted of a headless body. The mans wife was not pleased. The pyros thought they would get their rocks of by using his head in their little Pyro tennis game. It’s sad really, the way they get such enjoyment out of another mans body topper. Hopping around so gleefully just whacking back and forth until their little char-boiled hearts are content. How can we be blowing each other heads off when we have this kind of ruthlessness outside of the class?
So what I’m asking you, my fellow snipers in arms, is to stop this madness and evoke this rage on the other classes that are far below our skill level in accuracy, wits, and patience! Now lets go get them! Snipers Against Sniper Hate Crimes Unite!

Great first post!
My main class is sniper and I freakin’ love to plant lead right between unsuspecting enemies eyes. I imagine them getting startled by the sudden headshot and I love it. I can’t wait for the heavy update. It will be a shooting range with barely mobile targets for us snipers.

Valve must be doing a good job because just a few months ago people are complaining about too many snipers.

Honestly, I don’t play sniper often because it ALWAYS just ends up like this post describes - sniper (me) vs superior sniper and the actual people I should be picking off get away scott free. It doesn’t help either team and it must end now.

If snipers were removed from the game, would anybody actually miss them (except the people who play sniper)?
Snipers are a dick class, bringing down insta-kills without giving their victim a fair chance to fight back.

Josh, I don’t know if you have to resort to something that extreem, just make it so that the sniper rifle only kills heavies, engies and their buildings, other snipers and maybe solgiers. The sniper’s job is to keep down the heavy/medic combos that are so hard to kill without team coordination. They are not suppose to kill medics, pyros, scouts jumping over them, or -God forbid- cloaked spies!

I dont think any resrtictions are to be made. I like the class as is. I would enjoy the sniper class update to include the feet scope but thats it.

… No, because those people don’t play sniper. Anyone who plays sniper obviously wants to keep them in the game, that’s why they play sniper.

I have to agree that snipers can be quite frustrating and on the few sniper vs sniper maps one person always owns everyone else but i can’t think of the amount of times a sniper has saved my ass or has given me a chance to live. I can’t imagine a game without the snipers and i can’t wait for the sniper update for one reason: FLARE GUN PLAYGROUND FOR ME!
