Just incase you all missed the original post, or you forgot, or you all thought it would be funny to mass-boycott behind my back, and then be all like “HAHA madlep is on a server by himself playing with a 300ms ping!”… *sigh*

I’ll just drop a quick reminder that the server-warming party for the new ubercharged.net TF2 server is kicking off tomorrow, and you’re all welcome to turn up. Kicks from from 10pm Melbourne time, and pretty much 10pm at every time zone around the world through Saturday. Basically just join when you feel like it, and I’m sure that someone will be there.

The idea is to herd all the ubercharged readers onto the new server, and have me beat the crap out of them some wonderful games.

More exacting times are as specified back in the original post, cause it’s friday night, and I can’t be bothered reposting.

    Going to try to be there. I’ve actually been invited to a social event Saturday night (in real life). Such occurences are few and far between.

    Missing someone’s birthday party with an excuse like, “But, it’s ubercharged.net’s server-warming party!” will not go over well.

    I played for about 4 hours in the morning, 8-12 EST. Then I took a nap because I was toasted from Friday night. Went in there when no one else was and my ping skyrocketed… A server less than 50 miles away from me, 200+ ping. wtf?

    Yes, a fine map after all. Takes a while to get to find your way around. There were some annoyingly good scouts out there. And the hilltop CPs are quite interesting from a strategical point of view.
    For some odd reason killing madlep was fun.

    was fun playing but the 10pm europe timeslot didn’t really work. but had some fun a few hours before that. and the download of the map during the game took about 20min :-)

    The East Coast party was less than stellar. The max amount of people on was about 7 or so, and all we did was melee-fight on Dustbowl. The Australian one was great though, got on this morning to play. Thought there were more American ubercharged readers. :P

    I was at the east coast party too. We had some fun, but it got boring very quickly. It’s hard to believe that so few people read ubercharged in the US.

    I would have been on, but Steam wasn’t letting me add servers to my favorites, so I didn’t know how else to join it. Couldn’t find it on the TF2 list, either… D:

    I found it fun to kill *anyone*, 350 ping and sniping doesn’t seem to mesh. :( I didn’t do too bad though, and as Spy I went alright. :)
