How To Play Sniper Tutorial Video
Kojaimea has posted a great video on how to play sniper. I’m a crap sniper (I’m not patient enough to play it properly, and I’m too lazy to find new sniper spots once I get a few kills), so I got a lot out of it.
A guide to some of the small tips and tricks i use whenever i play sniper. Obviously the intricacies of timings to charge up certain damages couldnt be put on the video, it would take forever, but theres a lot here =]

very nice video. I have a sneaking suspicion that most snipers I see have come from Counter Strike (At least I have).

I have to say playing sniper is much like playing the spy, although your not dealing melee damage, you do need to be excellent with stealth, and skill. You have to choose the targets that could cause the most problems for your team as well as be wary of whats going on near you.
What I do enjoy about the snipe most is the deathcam, I don’t think anyone realizes that after you snipe the first enemy, he knows exactly where you are. So I rather enjoy those snipers that feel they have skill enough to hold when most good players typically use that to move. That way when the enemy sights in to your old hidding roost, your lining up another shot between their eyes.

PS. just a tid bit, youll see most new snipers will zone right into your old position to get revenge if you shoot them, so as weird as this may be, if I try to avoid killing other snipers unless they know where I am. Killing their team is much more efficient towards getting a win on your end. However, if you see them raking in the headshots, its time to do some counter-sniping
